NeuralLabs has announced a new version (2.9) of the ANPR engine (VPAR). This new version has better performance in image pre-processing wicth is very important for big images. NeuralLabs has also announced new country versions like Greece and Mexico.

Neurallabs has released a new version of the number plate recognition engine (VPAR). This HS (high Speed) version reduces up to 55% the processing time compared to the standard version. This new release will be available on january 2008 at the same price than the standard version. A new technology of neural networks has made this improvement possible

Neural Labs announces the launch of VPAR 2.7. The main emphasis of the new features are : - Direct readout of JPG.- More and more of our clients use IP cameras for the acquisition of images. With this new routine, using libraries from a third party in order to convert JPG and BMP is unnecessary.
- Shared use of our physical protection key. - The new READING and WRITING routines are included in our new physical key. That way the programmer can use it to introduce a security code in order to secure his application.

New version for December 2006 |
Responding to requests from several clients, this month a new version of VPAR will be released with the following new features: - Routines of "fast reading" have been added. With these new routines a point or two concerning reliability is sacrificed in order to acquire the reading in 30 or 40 ms. These routines do not replace the normal ones but they are added so that the programmer can use the one that suits his situation.
- Timeout for the license plate identifier functions has been added. After passing this timeout, the routine will return with the entire license plate number that has been recognized at that moment (in most cases a complete license plate number).
