Neural Edge

SOFTWARE:

Neural Edge is a solution for license plate recognition (LPR) projects embedded in camera. It is applicable both in vehicular access control (Stop & Go) and urban environments (Free Flow) in which vehicles are driven at up to 120km/h (Depending on camera model).

It offers the additional analytics of: make, color, speed, model² and classification of the vehicle: car, motorcycle, bus, truck and van, as well as vehicles without license plates recognition.

Neural Edge delivers license plate recognition rates of between 95% and 99%, depending on the country and installation conditions. Analytics run inside the camera, using its own processing resources. This saves the cost of servers and provides a solution for installations with limited connectivity resources.

The cameras communicate with each other to perform actions such as opening barriers or triggering alarms or sirens according to user-configurable lists.

Neural Edge has multiple easy integration options and offers an additional high-performance viewer with multiple selection filters and export possibilities.

APPLICATIONS

Access control

• License plate recognition by motion detection or by external trigger (inductive loop)
• License plates recognition of several countries at the same time in up to 2 lane
• Recognition of all legal and current license plates of more than 70 countries, including motorcycles, diplomatic licenses, etc.
• Direction detection
• Lists and rules management based on license plate, schedule and day match, which allow actions such as:
  • Opening a barrier or activating an alarm siren.
  • Sending email or WhatsApp notification message.
  • Sending metadata to third-party systems via TCP/IP (sockets) and HTTP protocols.
  • Metadata insertion into the main VMS in the market.
  •  FTP image transfer.
• Evidence camera integration functionality to obtain a snapshot of each license plate detected.
• Real-time viewer for performance review.

Security

• Vehicle identification based on make, model, color, and classification for forensic search
• Alerts based on vehicles search and arrest warrant lists
• Cloned license plate detection
• Vehicles without license plate or not legible detection

Mobility

• Vehicle Counting
• Traffic statistics by vehicle type, average speed, etc.
