Photo Stop

What is it?

This application detects vehicles that do not stop at the Stop sign and proposes sanctions by registering film evidence.

Stop signs are usually located in critical spots for safety. Failure to correctly carry out the stop can cause serious accidents with the risk of death or damage to the drivers.

How does it work?

Photo Stop system is intended to automatically detect vehicles that do not stop for the time established by the standard before crossing the Stop sign.

To achieve this goal, a traffic camera able to calculate the speed of vehicles, installed in a critical spot, will detect the non-stop and recognise the license plate of the vehicle to manage the sanction proposal.

The system also has an additional evidence camera that films the behavior of the driver as a proof, to be attached to the proposed sanction. All sanction proposals are presented in a back office for validation and export to the administrative sanctions system.
