Red Light

What is it?

Neural Labs' Red Light application detects and proposes sanctions to vehicles running the red light, which endanger the lives of other citizens. Skipping a red light is one of the most common and dangerous infractions. In some cities, not respecting the change of traffic light, can result in a fine and loss of points on the driver's license.

Neural Labs offers automatic detection of this behavior, proposing sanctions to offenders and accompanying such proposals with film evidence.

How does it work?

This analytic can be used by the police and traffic departments that need to control critical points in cities and municipalities. The system consists of a specific camera for license plate recognition and an evidence or environment camera.

Through the camera of evidence, the system detects the changes of color of the traffic light in a non-invasive way.

In case of detecting an infraction (running the red light), the vehicle is identified by the license plate recognition camera and the evidence camera films the whole scene.

All data is sent to a back-office for validation and subsequent export to the administrative system of sanctions management.

The red light system of Neural Labs can work on different hardware architectures.
