Wrong Way

What is it?  

This application detects vehicles circulating in the opposite direction to the allowed one. This behavior is extremely dangerous especially when it's done on fast roads.   The early detection of such vehicles is of vital importance in order to avoid damage or deaths in frontal collisions.  The origin of this behavior can be by mistake, and sometimes influenced by alcohol or drug use, suicide attempts, etc.  

This application can also be used in parking areas to monitor that users use the permitted circulation flows.  

How does it work?  

The purpose of this analytic is to automatically detect vehicles that circulate in the opposite direction to the allowed one.  

Neural Labs can detect the way a vehicle is circulating with a single camera, which can also recognise the license plate, speed, and detect other characteristics of the vehicle such as color, make, type of vehicle, etc.

The system can also be used with an additional evidence camera to record the behavior of the driver, in order to attach this video to the proposal of sanction.  All sanction proposals are sent to a backoffice for validation and export to the administrative sanctions system.
