With the slogan “Technology that saves lives” as its banner, Neural Labs celebrated its 20th anniversary at an event that combined technology, emotion, culture, and a deep sense of community. The venue chosen was Masia Rosàs, located in Sant Cugat del Vallès, an estate with more than 200 years of history that blends elegance and Catalan tradition. Just 10 minutes from the center of Barcelona, this farmhouse was the perfect setting to commemorate two decades of innovation and technological expansion.
The event brought together 135 guests from eight countries: Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Colombia, and Uruguay, including representatives from public institutions, technology partners, local authorities, and, of course, the entire Neural Labs team, the driving force behind every advance the company has made.
This gathering not only celebrated the company's trajectory, but also the international collaboration network that Neural Labs has built over the years, especially in Latin America, where its LPR license plate recognition technology has contributed to improving security and mobility in multiple cities.

The day began with a welcome ceremony, in which the founders of Neural Labs, Elías Valcárcel and Jesús De La Calle, shared with attendees a journey through the company's history. They recalled the early years, when Neural Labs consisted of just the two of them, and highlighted the company's international expansion, which currently has a presence in more than 20 countries.
After these words, attendees were led to an audiovisual projection that simulated a “call from the past.” Using artificial intelligence, a video was presented featuring a recreation of Elías Valcárcel 20 years ago, with a founding message showing how the vision of Neural Labs was born.
Another highlight of the event was the participation of Neural Labs' international partners, who have been key in its development of technological solutions for smart cities and with whom they have been able to reach different countries to contribute to society.
After the initial presentations, the event offered a highlight with a display of Catalan culture: a performance by a group of castellers, known for forming impressive human towers. This tradition, which is deeply rooted in Catalan identity, visually and movingly represents the values of collective effort, coordination, and mutual trust. In this context, the performance became a metaphor for the journey of Neural Labs, which over its 20 years has grown and evolved thanks to teamwork and constant collaboration among its members.
As part of the experience, a dinner was offered that celebrated the gastronomic richness of Catalonia, with a menu designed to highlight traditional flavors of the region. The menu included a selection of classic appetizers—such as pa amb tomàquet, artisanal sausages, and local cheeses—as well as main courses accompanied by wines and typical local beverages.
Beyond the gastronomic enjoyment, the dinner was a space for connection between attendees, encouraging conversation in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. This moment allowed for strengthening bonds, sharing experiences and stories, and continuing to build community, although the activity did not end there and there were still moments to enjoy.

One of the most significant moments of the event was the awards ceremony, held during dinner, in an atmosphere that combined excitement, gratitude, and collective pride. Neural Labs recognized those projects, companies, and collaborators that have been key to its growth and consolidation in recent years, highlighting their technological, social, and strategic impact.
For this special occasion, the awards were designed as unique pieces, handcrafted by Barcelona-based ceramicist Cris Noguera. Inspired by the identity of Neural Labs and the artistic heritage of Barcelona, the statuettes combined elements representative of the LPR cameras used in its technological solutions with details inspired by the architecture of Antoni Gaudí and Joan Miró. Each award was more than just a recognition: it was a piece of art representing the fusion of innovation, creativity, and tradition.

To close the ceremony, a special award was presented to Elías Valcárcel, co-founder and CEO of Neural Labs. The recognition was a surprise prepared by the organizing team in gratitude for his leadership during the company's 20 years of existence.
This award highlighted not only his entrepreneurial vision in the field of artificial intelligence and mobility, but also his ability to build strong teams, foster international alliances, and maintain the human essence in technological development.
In the last part of the event, speaker Lluís Soldevila gave a talk focused on the role of people in the development and sustainability of artificial intelligence, highlighting the “five human points” behind each technological advance. This presentation sought to reinforce Neural Labs' focus on technology with purpose and ethical dimension.
Afterwards, the entire company team was invited on stage for a special photo, in recognition of the human value behind the company's achievements.
The day ended with a final speech by Elías Valcárcel, who took stock of these 20 years of evolution, talked about the company's present, and participated in the recording of a symbolic message to be projected at a future celebration in another 20 years.
The event concluded with an invitation to enjoy an open bar and final cocktail, allowing the day to continue in a more relaxed atmosphere conducive to networking among attendees.
With an evening that brought together history, innovation, and a shared vision, Neural Labs celebrated two decades of growth, strategic alliances, and commitment to the technological transformation of cities. The gathering was not only a commemoration of the past, but also a clear statement of the path the company continues to build: smart solutions that improve mobility, strengthen safety, and save lives around the world.
