Neural Labs launches its new camera “Neural Ghost 16 OV”, conceived for sanctions, ITS and Low Emissions Zones

Neural Labs offers embedded solutions that process video analytics inside of a camera like: license plate recognition, vehicles’ color, make and classification and infractions detection, like for example, vehicles running the red light, to propose sanctions.

The ideal version for Smart cities, municipalities and road networks is Neural Ghost  and its dual version called OV (Overview) that, because it has an evidence camera added to the one for license plate recognition, is ready to propose sanctions, amongst them, the Low Emissions Zone ones.

Neural Labs celebrates its new camera for this solution, the Neural Ghost 16 OV (Overview). “We’re glad to continue advancing and offering the best solutions to our clients and our new camera is a prove of it”, said Elías Valcárcel Neural Labs’ CEO.

“This solution is designed to detect sanctions and is the perfect allied for the Low Emissions Zone implementations. A project that many cities are working on right now to respond to the environmental European regulations”, has added Valcárcel.

WHAT SETS THE NEURAL GHOST 16 OV APART?

The new Neural Ghost differentiates from its predecessors in its compact design and its small size. Also, its iris, focus and zoom are motorized, so they can be controlled remotely.

The Neural Ghost 16 OV has an IP67 Certification, what means greater waterproofing, and it operates over a very wide temperature range, from -40°C to 85°C.

Neural Ghost Standard cameras and Neural Ghost Overview ones, its dual version that includes both a license plate recognition (LPR) camera and an evidence one, will still be available for sale.

According to Valcárcel: “The proved convenience and efficacy of these cameras makes us to still invest on them, although Neural Ghost 16 OV is available for those clients who want it for its new projects”.

WHAT APPLICATIONS HAS NEURAL GHOST 16 OV?

Neural Ghost 16 OV camera, using the images it captures, processes vehicle analytics like: license plate, drive direction, lane, make, color, classification, and it even can detect traffic infractions and propose the according sanctions.

It is noteworthy that Neural Ghost 16 detects license plates from multiple countries at the same time circulating at speed up to 150 Km/h.

WHAT TRAFFIC INFRACTIONS CAN IT DETECT?

From running a red light and make a wrong turn, to circulating in the opposite direction or in lanes or areas where that vehicle is not allowed to (like Low Emission Zones). As well, don’t respect a STOP sign or park in forbidden locations… there’s many possibilities and Neural Labs is ready to adapt to the clients´ needs.

Moreover, Neural Ghost 16 OV includes an evidence camera in color that captures the environment of the offence and local storage so that the loss of connection is no longer a problem.
