Animals on the roads monitoring to improve road safety

From now on Neural Orchestr[AI]tor® will detect animals, such as birds, cats, dogs, horses, sheep, cows or bears or even some more exotic ones that will be very useful in African countries, where Neural Labs also has a presence, such as zebras, elephants and giraffes, among others.

Only in Spain for example, it is estimated that, each year, animals cause about 14,000 traffic accidents, according to RACC data. In addition, 50% of drivers have suffered a risk situation because of an animal and 94% have seen animals on the road over the course of a year.

Thus, animals are important actors to monitor on our roads inside the road safety and mobility analysis field.

The new animal detection functionality joins the detection, tracking and storage of trajectory of other actors that Neural Orchestrator already classified as: Cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses, people, electric scooters or bicycles.

As well as the analysis of many events ranging from traffic laws violations to traffic flow, traffic jams, vehicles at abnormal speed or multiple occupants of motorcycles, among many other incidents.
