Starting point
It was required to protect the city installing cameras and a license plate recognition system at its accesses, using the city's own optic fibre cables. This had to be implemented quickly and throughout the city.
Implemented solution
A solution designed consisted of a single mode fibre optic cables network with 48 fibre backbones and point-to-point topology with each of the cameras' processing units. This design allowed us to reach every camera with 1GB traffic which guarantees the best speed and the possibility to grow the network in the future.
